Andrew Flores
Andrew was born in sunny San Diego and through the culinary arts and happenstance found his way to the DMV area. He started his journey into making things rather recently compared to the other guys in the shop. When the pandemic turned the world upside down Andrew stepped away from culinary and pivoted to a somewhat related career, Bladesmithing. With some much appreciated help and guidance from some very talented makers he found himself at BKS full time in mid-2022.
He currently lives in Sterling, VA with his lovely wife Kelsie and their Chiweenie Ruby. As good hobbits they enjoy a good meal, a cup of tea, and a good book next to a cozy fire.
