In the early 1980s, Kerry Stagmer embarked on the path alongside his older brother, Emory Stagmer, and another partner, initially tagging along as the little brother. What began as a decision to take the path of least resistance has evolved into a lifelong journey of research and learning. Kerry's sincere hope and intention are to pass along the skills and knowledge generously bestowed upon him by others.
Throughout his journey, Kerry has been exceptionally fortunate to collaborate with some of the great craftsmen of their day. Whether working with jewelers, blacksmiths, bladesmiths, or metalsmiths from around the world, he has consistently gained valuable knowledge and shared skills with others. Presently, Kerry collaborates with a team of skilled artisans. Together, they produce a diverse array of objects, engaging in the exchange of skills, knowledge, and inspiration within their collaborative work.
In his free time, Kerry collects Rose engines and rare and exotic classic British sportscars. He and his wife Amy live in Marriottsville, with a rambunctious white German Shepard named Basil, an occasional wandering metal worker, and an odd colllection of cars and parts.
